1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, joining a workspace, purchasing a subscription or using Atelier Book, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The service
Atelier Book provides tools for business profiles, availability, staff, services, customers, appointments, public booking pages, reporting and related subscription management. Features may change as the platform develops.
Atelier Book is scheduling software. It is not a medical, legal, financial or emergency service and does not guarantee the quality, safety or outcome of services offered by businesses using the platform.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate account and business information.
- You are responsible for credentials, team access and activity performed through your workspace.
- You must notify the operator promptly if unauthorized access is suspected.
- Platform accounts must be created by people legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Business responsibilities
Each business is responsible for its services, staff, prices, availability, customer communications, refunds to its own booking customers, and compliance with laws applying to its industry.
Businesses must have a lawful basis for collecting customer information, publish any notices required for their bookings, and avoid requesting unnecessary sensitive information.
5. Subscriptions, trials and billing
- Subscription prices, billing periods and trial terms are displayed before checkout.
- Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancellation is scheduled.
- A free trial is normally limited to one trial per business or customer. Reactivated subscriptions may be charged immediately.
- Cancellation takes effect at the time shown in the customer portal. Access normally continues until the current paid or trial period ends.
- Failed or overdue payments may result in restricted or suspended access.
Paddle processes checkout and subscription payments as Merchant of Record. Paddle may handle payment collection, tax calculation, invoices and order-related communications under its own buyer terms and privacy notice.
Refund eligibility is explained in the Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the platform for unlawful, deceptive or abusive activity.
- Attempt to access another business's workspace, customer records or restricted platform systems.
- Upload malware, disrupt the service, bypass security or probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization.
- Send spam or communications without required consent.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the hosted service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use the platform to violate intellectual-property, privacy or consumer-protection rights.
7. Customer content
Businesses retain ownership of content and records they submit. They grant the operator a limited right to host, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.
8. Platform ownership
The hosted platform, software, interface, documentation and platform branding are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the hosted service; they do not transfer ownership of the platform source code or brand.
9. Third-party services
The platform depends on third-party infrastructure, authentication, hosting and payment providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and may occasionally affect platform availability.
10. Availability and changes
Reasonable efforts are made to keep Atelier Book available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security work or provider outages may temporarily limit access. Material service changes will be communicated where reasonably practical.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use, material breach or conduct that threatens users or the platform. Users may stop using the service and cancel through the available subscription-management tools.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. The operator is not responsible for services delivered by businesses, customer no-shows, lost profits, indirect losses or events outside reasonable control.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability relating to the service will be limited to the amount paid for the affected subscription during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires a different result.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction identified by the production operator, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the user's location.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the platform, pricing or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
